Health Ministry

The parish Health Ministry facilitates the healing mission of the church through education, counseling members about health issues, such as coping with illness and preventing diseases and referrals to appropriate community services.

Our mission is to promote health, prevent disease and care for the body, mind and spirit of each member of St. Joseph's Parish.

Two certified Parish Nurses serve as coordinators of this ministry.

Volunteers help with screenings on a monthly basis after each Mass, are available at the quarterly Anointing Mass, take part in wellness fairs and are present at Health Seminars held at the Church.

Having medical experience is a benefit, but not a requirement to be part of this team. Any person who has a willingness to assist in the church's mission of healing is welcome to participate.
